This round will test the participants’ critical thinking skill. Participants will have exactly to think what kind of speech to be brought and overwhelm the audience. The topics will be determined by the participant drawing/picking the lots containing several topics.

SPESIFIC RULES:

• No slide, video, or overhead project is allowed.

• The participants should not bring and read the text, or any small outline paper (mini notes) is NOT allowed while performing.

• The performing time shall be 2 minutes 30 seconds in length.

• Participant who speaks more than 2 minutes 30 seconds will get deduction points.

• There will be a sign showed to the performing participant

  • GREEN card: the time left for contestants is half of the maximum time.

  • YELLOW card: 30 seconds before the maximum time runs out.

  • RED card: time is over and contestants have to stop.
