Participants will prepare the speech based on the theme given and perform their own prepared speech with their own style. Participants should pick any topic regarding:

1. Social Justice Warrior, Good or Bad?

2. How Genetic Lottery Affects Human’s Lives

3. Do You Believe Defining Personality Traits with Horoscope?

SPESIFIC RULES:

• The speech may include references of other sources, as long as it contains not plagiarized. Citation of the data or research is allowed and should not be the major content.

• No slide, video, or overhead project is allowed.

• The participants should not bring and read the text, or any small outline paper (mini notes) is NOT allowed while performing.

• The performing time shall be five to seven minutes length. (maximum times: 7 minutes)

• Participant who speaks less than 5 minutes or more than 7 minutes will get deduction points.

• There will be a sign showed to the performing participant

  • GREEN card: a green card will be displayed after five minutes.

  • YELLOW card: 30 seconds before the maximum time runs out.

  • RED card: time is over and contestants have to stop.
